Post Operative Instructions for Flippers

Follow the guidelines below for maximum care after flippers. We have tried to be as specific as possible, so you get all the dos and don'ts in one go.

• 1- To ensure maximum cleaning, wash it with a soft toothbrush and a narrow toothbrush that can easily reach the surgical side. Also, use non-abrasive toothpaste so that the area remains clean without causing irritation or damage to the healing tissues.


• 2- Make sure that it is not reachable by kids, pets, and dogs.


• 3- If you need to adjust your flipper, visit us.


• 4- If you need your flipper to maintain the proper space for future restorations, make sure to wear it daily. So, it will make space for it.


• 5- Remove it while sleeping to avoid infection and inflammation.


• 6- When eating at home or in private then remove it to prevent it from getting stained or damaged.


• 7- It is not a permanent solution, but a temporary one to fill the space. Usually, it's in use for 1 year. But taking proper care of it can make it last until permanent restoration is ready.


• 8 When not taking care of it, like not following all the guidelines, it can damage and will require more charges for repair or getting a new one.
